Let me introduce myself: Fabien, soap maker by trade... more precisely from Chèvremont, in the Territoire de Belfort.
Shower gels have never been my friends and not convinced by the "classic" commercial products, I launched myself in 2016 into the adventure of making my own soaps... All by myself, like a big man!
After many tests and a specific training course, I have created a range of 6 soaps.
They are made from a clever mixture of different fats and sodium hydroxide.
The natural colours come from green, red, orange and yellow clays. The black is vegetable...
The different oils and butters are all organically grown and of vegetable origin.
Essential oils are sometimes added to delight your sense of smell.
In cold saponification, we don't need much energy... Like good wines, soaps need time... At least 4 weeks of "maturation" are necessary for them to deliver their benefits to our skins: this is the cure time.
In order to bring a maximum of softness to our delicate skins, my soaps are surgras and contain glycerin naturally formed during the manufacturing process. Our shopping being our jobs, all raw materials are produced or distributed by French companies and as locally as possible. Thus, sodium hydroxide is produced in Froidefontaine (90). The labels and this beautiful flyer were created and printed in Châtenois-les-Forges (90) on recycled paper.
The moulds and cutting tools were made near Montpellier (34).
All you have to do is to let yourself be tempted!
Enjoy!
