Little huts walk
Details
The origins of the village can be traced back to the 8th century. The settlement consisted of "cabanes", hence the name "Chavanatte". In 1290, the village belonged to the Seigneurie de Florimont and the parish of Suarce. In 1685, Chavanatte became a fiefdom held by the Count of Reiset until the French Revolution. This family hike in the Sundgau comprises two loops of 1 hour 15 minutes each. Beautiful scenery along the Suarcine and magnificent half-timbered houses. Picnic area and games for children.
