Korean artist Ju Hyun Lee is conducting an exciting experiment with us. Her project is to explore local alternatives to sugar, vanilla and coffee, three products that seem indispensable in our daily lives but whose mass production is far from neutral for the planet. As well as sober methods of processing and preserving them.
Planting alternative flowers to vanilla, harvesting dandelion roots, testing solar appliances: solar dryer and cooker. Drying, roasting and cooking with the sun's energy, and tastings of "spéculoos" and local coffee.
